The Italian style village of Portmeirion near Penrhyndeudraeth in North Wales UK.



The village was created by Sir Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis a Welsh Architect and was used as the location for may film and television programmes, including the popular The Prisoner which starred Patrick McGoohan in the 1960's
